Kiln Dried Ash/Birch
Kiln Dried Ash is brilliant firewood. Our logs produce a good hearty blaze that put out a fantastic quantity of heat – it’s not for nothing that Ash is considered the ultimate firewood, and kiln dried ash is simply unsurpassable. Dried to an average moisture content of less than 20% these logs are split and cut to 25cm lengths and should fit in the vast majority of wood burning appliances. On dispatch we wrap your bulk bag with a thin plastic sheet to make sure that they get to you as dry as they left us. Please note that you really do want to store your logs somewhere out of the rain – there’s nothing so heart-breaking than seeing beautifully dry logs being subjected to English winter drizzle.
We produce two sizes – nets and bulk bags. Please be aware that the bulk bags are very large, and unless you have an ideal delivery location we recommend ordering nets and discussing the possibility of taking bulk bag with the driver who delivers your order – he (or she) will have the experience to guide you as to what is most practical for your location.
